Special Needs Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct lessons in accordance with the syllabus or guidelines established
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
- Facilitating lessons in a manner that will be effective despite a student's disability
- Providing support for students both academically and personally where necessary
- Respecting students and treating them with dignity in the learning environment
- Preparing lessons in advance with the needs of learners in mind
- Designing activities to achieve the learning goals of the students
- Observe and monitor the learning progress & development of children
- Responsible for all aspects of classroom management, and creating a pleasant and positive atmosphere in the classroom
- Carry out routine care duties to ensure the hygiene & safety of children
- Participate in school activities & events
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in psychology/Teaching/Special Education
- Knowledge of teaching practices for students with special needs
- Passionate in teaching and dealing with special needs children
- Enthusiastic and innovative individuals.
