Taekwondo is a version of an ancient form of unarmed combat practised for many centuries in the Orient. Taekwondo became perfect in its present form in Korea. Taekwondo aims to achieve etiquette, modesty, perseverance and self-control.

Wushudao is a combination of martial arts which involve self-defense, arm locking, throwing techniques, boxing, kick-boxing, free sparing (body combat) or Sanshou, traditional pattern, foundation of International Compulsory Pattern, which is developing rapidly in Malaysia. Wushudao emphasizes the art of free sparring or Sanshudo, apart from the set of fixed movements which is commonly called pattern or Taolu.
